Getting Back!

dog blogging

Yes, it's been a while since I last posted here. I got really busy with many things - my 150-hour-per-week job, full-time parenting, events, scheduled trips, and, well... life! There was even a time when I considered closing this blog for good.

But then I realized - how about my advocacy? How about the things I can share with my fellow dog owners and those still planning to get their fur babies? I suddenly remembered my purpose in creating this blog - to promote responsible pet ownership.

Lately, a growing number of poor dogs have been abandoned and suffering from injuries that needed medical attention asap. While some were fortunate enough to survive and find new homes, some were already too weak to undergo surgeries and effective treatments. A few had already crossed the rainbow bridge just a few days (or hours) after being rescued.

I'm not saying that I'm an expert in this subject. I'm not a veterinarian. I don't even have the resources to rescue every poor dog being posted online. My name isn't Cesar Milan. The only thing I can share here is my knowledge and experiences from taking care of dogs for almost 30 years, being exposed to active dog and rescue groups for almost 5 years, and having friends/acquaintances who are all dog owners/lovers.

You will find a few affiliate links from my posts from time to time. But that doesn't mean that this is an "affiliate blog." The earnings from these affiliate links support this blog (domain renewal and other outsourced stuff to keep this blog rolling). I'm not the kind of person who puts up some false advocacy for self-interests (I hate those people!).

This may sound a bit dramatic, but WeCareForDogs.com is here to stay. So stay tuned! 😉
